I have created various animations & 3D bits over the years using Flash, AfterEffects & 3D Studio Max. Here are a few of them:

Created one day in AfterEffects, simply to see if I could - each cell drawn on tracing paper individually.

These Flash buttons were created using 3D Studio Max and featured in one of my early website designs, a commission for Millwright Engineering Ltd in 2005. If you haven't already - hover your cursor over each one to see the animation.
